This policy describes how Diamond Tournaments handles information when you view tournament pages, use director access, or contact us. For questions, email etgillespie1@gmail.com.

Tournament information

Team names, divisions, matchups, fields, schedules, standings, and game scores entered by the director are stored using Google Firebase and displayed publicly on the website. Do not enter private player details into public team names, game notes, or other tournament fields.

Director accounts

Log in uses Firebase Authentication. Firebase processes sign-in information and account identifiers to authenticate the director and restrict editing access. Visitors do not need an account to view public tournament information.

Contact and sponsorship messages

The sponsorship form collects your name, business name, message, and an optional reply email address. FormSubmit processes submissions and forwards them to the tournament director’s email inbox. Direct email messages are handled by the email providers involved. We use these messages to respond to inquiries and discuss tournament or sponsorship matters.

Browser storage and technical data

My Team saves your chosen sport, division, and team name in this browser. You can remove that choice using Clear saved team on the dashboard. The site uses browser storage, including localStorage and Firebase’s local cache, to retain tournament information and reduce repeated downloads. Director authentication uses browser session persistence. Hosting, authentication, form, and advertising providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and service logs when delivering their services.

Google advertising and cookies

The site includes Google AdSense. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on visits to this site and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on browsing activity.

You can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. You can also visit aboutads.info for choices offered by participating third-party vendors. Browser settings let you control cookies and clear site storage; doing so may affect sign-in or cached scores.

Service providers

Information is processed by the providers needed to host the site, store tournament records, authenticate the director, deliver messages, and serve advertising. Their handling of information is also governed by their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and FormSubmit.

Children’s information

The site displays youth tournament information for families, coaches, and fans. Its contact form and director account are intended for adults. Do not submit a child’s personal contact information. Contact us if you believe a child’s private information has been submitted or published.

Retention and requests

Tournament records remain available until the director updates or removes them. Contact messages may remain in the director’s inbox, and providers apply their own retention practices. Email us to request correction or removal of information you submitted. Public tournament records, provider-held records, and backups may require separate handling.
